A Brief History
Just safaris is founded and owned by Justin Barr.
Justin was 16 years old when he started working at outreach programmes in preparation for what he knew he’d be doing later in his life. After school, he started his studies for game ranging, trails guiding and nature conservation through Eco training in Sabie Sands game reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National park.
After working tirelessly and obtaining all certification along with a certificate for ornithology Justin successfully guided tours in every country in Southern Africa and was voted into Top 5 best guides of the world through www.exodus.co.uk
19 years of guiding later, he reached the pinnacle of his career and decided to branch out by starting his own company but covid was devastating to the tourism industry and for almost 3 years he was unable to follow his passion. He worked odd jobs to provide for his family but never gave up hope that he would once again be able to do what he was called to do.
Justin is not only passionate about wildlife and conservation but of South Africa in her entirety and will always work in this field without hesitation. He takes pride in his country and teaching others about it.
