We spend the morning exploring the vast conservation area of Addo in search of our acclaimed elephants and the other wildlife that make up of one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Later in the afternoon, we move to a private reserve and have the unique experience of wildlife up close and personal on open safari vehicles. This tour offers a full day of game drives in two extraordinary reserves with an incredible variety of mammal and bird species. After dinner in the bush around a large campfire, we embark on an evening safari in search of our nocturnal animals such as hyena, porcupine and aardwolf.
Our private game reserve borders the famous Addo Elephant National Park and is where an adventure of a lifetime awaits you.
After tea or coffee, we embark on an afternoon safari in our open game drive vehicles. We search for our acclaimed elephants and other wildlife including but not limited to an array of different antelope species.
We explore the reserve in search of herds of plains zebra and red hartebeest and if we’re lucky may find a hippopotamus or two enjoying a wallow in a muddy pool.
The opportunity to spot herds of giraffe meandering on the plains and an inquisitive rhinoceros or two outrivals that of most wildlife safaris throughout Southern Africa. Our lions steal the show with vibrating roars, as the sun disappears over the horizon, which illuminates the sky in bright oranges, the way only the African sun can.
We enjoy a traditional South African dinner cooked on open fires in the bush, before embarking on an evening safari to track down our nocturnal animals such as, hyena, porcupine, and aardwolf.
