After meeting our guide at Cape Town International airport, we transfer to our accommodation in an air-conditioned vehicle before making our way up Table mountain in its rotating cable car. For the more adventurous, a quick 3.5-hour hike gets you to the top. We spend the afternoon at 1083m above sea level on one of the worlds natural wonders. After heading down, we transfer back to our accommodation to freshen up before heading out for dinner in the city.

After a fulfilling breakfast at our accommodation, we head out to explore the Cape peninsular. We drive along the rocky coast of the Atlantic ocean passing through the breathtakingly beautiful towns of Clifton and Camps Bay. We stop in Hout Bay where we have the option to take a tour to a seal colony by boat before driving up one of the Capes most historic and magnificent roads, Chapmans Peak. A number of photo stops later we arrive in Simons Town to visit a colony of African penguins before making our way to the famous Cape of Good Hope National Park for a walk to the most South-Westerly point of the African continent.

Today is a free day to spend doing optional activities such as township tours, city tours and going to the historical Robben Island to learn about Nelson Mandela and all the other freedom fighters’ such as Steve Biko, incarcerations during the apartheid regime.

After a leisurely breakfast we check out and make our way to the holiday town of Hermanus via Clarens drive, one of the Capes most beautiful and scenic drives. en-route we stop at several of Stellenbosch’s finest vineyards for cheese and wine tastings. The Cape winelands comprise of over 200 wine farms, many of which are historical farmwith Cape Dutch manors and acres of beautiful gardens and vineyards where some of the worlds best wines have been produced since the mid-17th century.
Hermanus is renowned as one of the world’s best whale watching destinations. The calmer and warmer waters of the Indian ocean provide the perfect conditions for these Southern Right whales to begin and complete their reproduction cycles. We check in just after lunch and have the Afternoon to spend at our leisure.

Today is a free day to spend doing optional activities. This is where we have the experience of a lifetime out on the ocean view the magesic whales or perhaps diving with our Great White Sharks is more up your alley. The day is free to be spent at our own leisure exploring the seaside village of Hermanus.

After an early breakfast, we make our way over Robinson Pass into the Klein Karoo. Our first stop will be the Cango Caves to explore one of the worlds’ 7 natural wonders. After our tour, we take a short drive to Buffelsdrift Game Reserve for lunch overlooking the lodge waterhole with hippos sunbathing and a variety of wildlife coming down for a drink. this afternoon we an opportunity to spend time with their orphaned elephants Jabari, Bulelo and Malaika, learning about the importance of these gentle giants’ conservation.
Later, we take a short drive to the small town of De Rust, where we join Jan and Theresa at house Martin for a traditional Braai around the swimming pool as we enjoy the sunset and the clear Karoo night sky.

After a beautiful breakfast at House Martin we check out and head back down to the coast via the scenic Outeniqua Pass. We’ll pass the seaside town of Wilderness before continuing our drive through the picturesque Garden Route, with stops in the towns of Knysna and on to Plettenburg Bay for lunch. After checking in at Tsitsikamma National park, we take a short 2-hr walk down to the suspension bridges before enjoying a cold beverage watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean

The day is set aside for activities and hikes through the incredible indigenous forest that surround us. with option of a guided kayak and lilo trip up the Storms River mouth in the afternoon and perhaps a trip to the world highest bridge bungee for an adrenelin rush. Bloukraans bridge bungee is a whopping 216m high!

This morning after a quick breakfast before we journey to a private game reserve bordering the famous Addo Elephant National Park. We embark on an afternoon safari in open game drive vehicles to search for the big 5, antelope, zebras, and more. Enjoy a traditional South African dinner cooked on open fires in the bush, followed by an evening in luxury safari tents listening to the sounds of the wild.
