Cape Peninsular Day Tour

8 Hours (08:30 - 16:30)

The Cape Peninsula stretches over 52km’s (32.3mi) and is littered with bustling and breath-taking seaside towns like the famous Camps Bay and Hout Bay.

We spend the day exploring the Peninsula making photo stops at every opportunity.

Chapmans Peak was built between 1915 and 1922 with the use of convict labour. It offers a 180-degree panoramic view and is a sightseer’s dream. It leads into the small naval town of Simons Town that is home to the Boulders beach penguin colony. After a visit here we make our way to the Cape Point national park for a short walk to the most South Westerly point on the African continent.

We make our way back to the city via Scarborough and Misty cliffs that acquired its name because of the constant mist that hangs over the small town for most of the year.

Full Day Township & Robben Island Heritage Tour

8 Hours (08:30 - 16:30)

Langa is one of ten areas that were established during the apartheid era designated for Black Africans. The name Langa means ‘sun’ in the Xhosa language, but the name of the township derived from a famous chief who was incarcerated on Robben Island for rebelling against the South African government.

During a township tour with your Langa born and bred guide, you’ll experience Langa and meet many people who actively work to make a difference throughout the community.

We combine this with a tour of Robben Island where political activist and lawyer Nelson Mandela was sentenced to 27 years imprisonment and served 18 years before the fall of apartheid and introduction of a full, multi-racial democracy. He was later awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and was elected in 1994 as President of South Africa, becoming the country’s first ever black president and served one term from 1994–1999.

Day 1: Cape Town

We arrive at Cape Town International airport and meet our guide. We transfer to our bed and breakfast in the Mother city in an air-conditioned vehicle for check in.

Once settled, we head to Table mountain and take the revolving cable car or have the option to hike up to the top, which takes us approximately 3.5 hours and spend some time exploring one the natural wonders of the world where we are 1083 meters above sea level.

We head back to the lodge to freshen up before heading out for dinner in the Mother city.
